The story behind Jharokha

The jharokha is the overhanging window of Jaipur’s palaces and havelis, from which the royal household watched the city without being seen. Our Jharokha lid is built in layers of cut-work: an arch framing palms and lotus blooms in soft sage and blush.

The depth of the layers is best seen in person, in changing light.
